What is this Restitution about?

Transportation Alliance Bank, Inc. d/b/a TAB Bank ("TAB Bank"), a Utah state chartered bank, periodically undertakes a thorough review of the EasyPay Loan Program to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal TAB Bank policies and practices. The most recent review of the EasyPay Loan Program included an analysis of the EasyPay Interest Rebate Program (the "IRP"). This review revealed that certain consumers who utilized the IRP were entitled to a rebate of the IRP fee paid in connection with their loan.

TAB Bank will provide full restitution to all adversely impacted EasyPay IRP consumers identified beginning April 13, 2017 through December 31, 2022 (the "Restitution Period").

Who is an Eligible Consumer?

Eligible Consumers include all TAB Bank consumers who utilized the EasyPay IRP that were adversely impacted by the IRP fee from April 13, 2017 to December 31, 2022, as identified by TAB Bank's records. Eligible Consumers do not include: (1) borrowers that paid their loans under the IRP but did not pay any IRP fees; and (2) borrowers with loans where the IRP fee was capped at $0 while corrected disclosures were being implemented (the $40 IRP fee was no longer imposed as of November 18, 2022).
